Giving Opportunities

Since its founding, our school has relied on the generosity of families, alumni, and community members who recognize the value of a high quality education for East Bay girls. While tuition funds the majority of the school’s budget, we depend on giving to help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each girl.

The Girls Fund
The Girls Fund is Julia Morgan School for Girls’ annual giving campaign. Gifts to The Girls Fund have an immediate and direct benefit to every current student and faculty member. Our goal of 100% participation from current families is just one of the many ways we live our value that we’re all in this together. No gift is too small—or too large.

The Athena Fund
The Athena Fund, Julia Morgan School for Girls' endowment for flexible tuition, supports our goal of socioeconomic diversity at the school. This program embodies the core values of the school and our commitment to:
  • an economically diverse student population by providing at least 30% of our students with an adjusted tuition amount,
  • all girls having the opportunity to pursue a Julia Morgan School for Girls education, and
  • providing a joyful and supportive learning environment where students develop academic skills, self-awareness, and confidence.

Matching Gifts

Donor Advised Fund
If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you may recommend a grant to Julia Morgan School for Girls, which is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of IRS code. Please include your name as the account holder so that we can thank you for your gift.
 
Planned Giving
Planned giving vehicles such as gift annuities or remainder trusts may help minimize taxes and maximize your annual income, all while leaving a legacy and generating income for the school. Many families also choose to make charitable gifts in their estate plans through a bequest or by naming Julia Morgan School for Girls as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account.
