Tuition & Affordability

At Julia Morgan School for Girls, our Flexible Tuition Program is designed to make education more accessible for families from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, based on demonstrated financial need and available resources. We understand that the cost of a Julia Morgan education is a significant investment, and we strive to ensure it remains within reach.

While demand can exceed available resources, our program currently supports about 50% of our students, providing assistance that ranges from 5% to 70% of annual tuition.

We’re proud to partner with Mission Enrollment, a trusted third-party assessor, to review applications fairly and impartially. Throughout the process, you may receive communications from Mission Enrollment via Clarity regarding application clarifications or required documentation. Both Mission Enrollment and Julia Morgan School for Girls are committed to making your application experience as smooth and supportive as possible.

Tuition and Fees

JMSG Tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year is $41,700.*
All program and field trip expenses are included.

Additional fees:

One-time new student enrollment fee of $1,065
Technology fee of $350 per year

* Tuition and fee rates are subject to change annually. Typically tuition increases 4-5% per year.

How do I apply?

Will applying for Flexible Tuition have an impact on the admission decision?

No. Admission decisions are made independently.
Is my information confidential and safe?

Yes! Please be assured that all information will be kept in the strictest confidence.
My Flexible Tuition application and documents were late. Will this affect whether I receive Flexible Tuition?

Yes. Flexible Tuition applications received after the stated deadlines will be processed after all applications received on time have been processed. Adhering to all deadline dates is essential.
Are there other considerations?

Families who own a business must provide current tax returns, income statements, balance sheets, and relevant business documents. Savings, investments, trust funds, 529 plans, or other assets in a student’s name are considered available resources for education funding at Julia Morgan School for Girls.
The Flexible Tuition amount we received is not sufficient. Is there an appeal process?

Yes. Please make your request for a second review in writing to the Flexible Tuition Committee. Fill out a detailed Monthly Cash Flow Report and provide additional documents to substantiate your appeal.
