How to Apply

#1 Visit Campus

Attend a Parent Tour and Information Session (parents and guardians)

This adult-only event is intended for parents and guardians. Spend about two hours seeing classes in action, interacting with current parents and students, faculty, head of school, and others.

Tours are scheduled on select Tuesdays from October through January.

Schedule a Student Campus Visit (for students interested in the 2025-26 year)

We strongly encourage all prospective students to spend a morning on campus attending classes, getting to know students and teachers, and experiencing life as a Julia Morgan Student. Student Campus Visits are scheduled Tuesdays from October through January. An application is not required for a student to visit.

#2 Apply for the 2025-2026 School Year

Online Application on Ravenna

Julia Morgan School for Girls accepts applications from students who identify as girls or identify as non-binary and who also align with the school mission.

Please submit the preliminary application form and fee by January 17, 2025. The application fee is $100 (non-refundable).

Supplemental forms including student questionnaire, teacher evaluations, school transcripts and report cards will be due February 14, 2025. All forms and additional details are available on Ravenna.

Entrance Exam/Assessment

Julia Morgan School for Girls administers its own academic and personal assessments as part of the application process. Assessments take place on the Julia Morgan campus for two hours in late January or early February. The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is not required for admission. Once you submit the online application form, register for an assessment on Ravenna.

Family Interview (applicant and parents/guardians)

The family interview is an opportunity for us to get to know more about your child and for your family to ask specific questions and learn more about Julia Morgan School for Girls. Families who submit the application early will have access to the interview schedule after they apply. Interviews are scheduled December through February.

#3 Do you need Flexible Tuition?

We at Julia Morgan School for Girls believe that tuition should not be a barrier to enrollment, and we accept qualified students regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Visit our Flexible Tuition and Affordability page for more information.

#4 Decision for 2025-2026 School Year

Admission decisions will be released to all families on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at noon. All accepted students must enroll by Thursday, March 27, 2025.
